Iron Man DVD - I've heard a lot of people talking about all the different packaging and deals you can get on this thing, and the only advice I have is that, no matter where you go or what gimmick meets your fancy, make sure you get the 2 disc version. The second disc is where you see Bendis, Millar, Alonso, Breevort, and Quesada, as well as get the lowdown on the character's history from Lee, Colan, Layton, Romita Jr., Ellis, Granov, Casey, Ziercher, and the Knaufs.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall DVD - I didn't even realize this came out until I went to get Iron Man or I would have plugged it last week, too. People are trying to sell this as the Kristen-Bell-in-a-bikini-the-whole-time/Russell Brand show, but what it comes down to it, it's a work of love by Jason Segal, who finally gets his due after working his butt off on Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Knocked Up, and How I Met Your Mother.
30 Rock season 2 DVD - out next Tuesday! Throw down some sheckles for the best show on TV!
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - Michael Cera. That should be all you need. In theaters now.
The Office season 5 premiere - I'm glad they went in the complete opposite direction from what I expected of them.
Pushing Daisies season 2 premiere - I haven't watched it yet, but I'm thinking about paying for the download on iTunes and then double-dipping for the DVDs next fall. I'm just worried that this show is another case like 30 Rock, where even though all the people around me watch it and love it, folks out in the real world hate it and outright monetary support is the only thing that can keep it on the air.
NOT Fall Out Boy's "I Don't Care" - the worst song I've heard, in general, all year. One of the worst video concepts. And I died a bit inside when I saw Mark Hoppus still going along with it.
