Coming to you from the couch at home rather than a hotel room in Baltimore, but I assure you the lateness isn't due to lack of trying. Wireless connections in the Charm City were trash, but I'll rave about that more later.

Stephen's So-Called Emo Life!
- Pushing Daisies Season 1 DVD - decided to check it out after Barry Sonnenfeld won best director at the Emmy's last Sunday. Despite the WGA Strike abbreviated, 9 episode package, it was pretty delightful, and I'll definitely be tuning in this Wednesday for the season 2 premiere. Anna Friel = a great mix of Jenny Lewis (the Wizard/Rilo Kiley) and Zooey Deschanel (Hitchhiker's Guide, Almost Famous).
- Aaron Sorkin's NY Times Editorial - probably just for Obama supporters and fans of Sports Night, West Wing, and Studio 60. It's basically a one-act play that feels like it was written on a napkin, but still one of the greatest things I've ever read.
- Baltimore Comic Con - this was meant to be a preview comment, but at the point we're at now, all I'll say is that despite a rough start, much was accomplished and three of the longest days at a convention that I've ever had were also three of the most rewarding. I truly can't thank Matt enough for makingmy participation possible. There's much more to come.
- Iron Man DVD - out Tuesday. BS that they'll be offering more special features on the Blueray (I don't think that technology is low-cost enough yet to push people into it), but everyone should still pick it up anyway!
- Ting Tings - put in front of me by Raph and Bendis' No Life in Powers #30. Still not convinced that I like 'em, but I sure can't get the choruses out of my head.
