Acme E-Mail Update #17: Baltimore Comicon Edition

So much going on!  We're preparing for the upcoming signing, we have about 10 boxes of fresh back issues to get put out, and we're taking the Acme name national this weekend at the Baltimore Comicon!  This is a rare convention that will feature tons of big names and is also Bendis and Oeming's last convention appearance any time soon.  Now I don't know what "Twitter" is but apparently its in the computers and we'll be updating that with up-to-the-second information as wireless internet allows!  If everything goes the way we plan, it'll be just like you were there yourself!  Stay tuned!

Also, if you have not been in to clean out your box in a while, please do try to come by this weekend and at least see what is on hold for you.  We've always been very flexible to the needs of our subscribers here (sending out orders by mail, holding books longer than our standard cut off), but you have to maintain some kind of communication with us in order for us to work with you.  So if you can, come by.  If you can't, email us or call us, and let us know what your needs are so we can make something happen.  Enough business though, on to the news!

And that's your week as we see it.  One more thing.  Please, stop hiding comics around the store.  For real this time.  If there is something you don't want, just put it in our hands.  every week, we pretty much have to touch every single copy in the store in one way or another so we always find the things that have been hidden.  And sometimes they're books that someone wanted to buy but it appeared that we did not have any copies.  So let's go ahead and not do that anymore, mm'kay?

Wish Acme luck in Baltimore!  When the Acme name rings out from coast-to-coast, we promise never to forget all the people who helped make us great over the years!  Thanks and we'll see you in the shop!
