Next week we'll be coming to you by remote from Baltimore Comic Con! We'll be taking video of all of the proceedings (including Saturday's night's Harvey Awards ceremony!), but it's not too late to call, e-mail, or dictate your questions for any of the creators on the guest list!
The Emo Life is very video heavy this week.
Stephen's So-Called Emo Life!
- Fringe - the incessent advertising in every single comic this month worked its magic on me and I've now watched the pilot and second episode. I don't think it's the greatest thing in the world and the main character annoys me because the actress that plays her looks like Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatomy, who I hate, but it's entertaining and somewhat ambitious, as most things that J.J. Abrams does are. As long as it's free online, I'll stick with it.
- Kodak Zi6 - point and shoot camera. Say thank you to it and Joe for the teaser trailer and much more to come!
- The O.C. - yes, the primpy teenie bopper show from a couple years ago that got all those terrible reviews. It was my guilty pleasure for about a year, but I never saw the shortened fourth season. I've been re-watching the early episodes on Hulu, and I wish I could get a remix of it with just the Seth (Adam Brody) and Sandy (Peter Gallagher) Cohen parts.
- Dune Extended Cut DVD - the David Lynch one. That was my Monday. Fascinating behind the scenes rumors and stories.
- Queen of the Damned DVD - not the worst movie ever. Not even the worst vampire movie I've ever seen. Probably wouldn't even be in the top 10 worst movies I've ever seen. Glad to see Connie Moreau (Marguerite Moreau) from the Mighty Ducks getting work (six years ago).
