- Fantastic Four - fill in those holes or get put on some great stories from The World's Greatest Comics Magazine! Including Marvel Knights 4, vol. 2, and more, with legendary runs by John Byrne, Walt Simonson, Mike Wieringo, Steve McNiven, and J. Michael Strazynski, there's plenty to chose from, plenty to be had!
- Fantastic Four: Unstabled Molecules - what first appears as a throwaway four issue limited series grows into an intriguing and warping treat that shakes the foundations of Marvel's first ever breakaway success. Written by FF enthusiast James Sturm and drawn by regular BPRD artist Guy Davis with covers by Craig Thompson (Blankets, Goodbye Chunky Rice), this series is filled with expose style, uncredited backup matter, much like the Sentry, that calls into question the true origins of the Fantastic Four.
- 52 - it's only gotten better in comparison to Countdown and Trinity. Trust me. But honestly, this has given us one of the most solid series of the last year, Booster Gold.
- Fables - not to be forgotten over in the Vertigo drawer boxes! Bill Willingham's imaginative modern narrative of timeless childhood archetypes has become the DC imprints flagship title with the passing of Y. It all starts off with one of the best first issues ever written and rolls into a charming and at times startling portrayal of these public domain characters you already love, but should perhaps fear!
