- Dark Knight - Matt and I are both running at about 63% this morning, half because we were out until 3 watching the movie and half because of the way it made us feel.
Heath Ledger's performance lived up to all of the hype. I was captivated, I was enthralled every time he was on screen.
I love Maggie Gyllenhaal. Congratulations, Maggie. #5 on my list of top 5 celebrity crushes. Number five with a bullet.
I was totally behind Aaron Eckhart as soon as we was announced. Nick Nayler with a soul.
Michael Cain is a P.I.M.P.
My new favorite Gary Oldman film.
All that spoiler skirting aside, this movie is NOT FOR KIDS! I was driving home wondering how it avoided an R rating from the MPAA, probably stuido politics, but it is the hardest PG-13 I've ever seen. If you're deadset on taking the kids, please please please pre-screen this. We're talking about nightmares and crazy impressionable violence.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
Remember that whole small week thing that happened this week. Hope you didn't get used to it! DC's hitting you with GL, Supes, JLA, a well timed Two Face mini, and Ambush Bug laughs while Marvel answers back with not one, not two, but six, count 'em, SIX Secret Invasion tie-ins!

- Fincastle's - South Elm St. downtime. Great people, great atmosphere, and great doesn't even describe the drinks (shakes and a little glass of wonderful called Green Drink). If I had any complaints, it would just be that it's a little over-priced.
- Margarita's - next door to Fincastle's. Even better atmosphere, but service leaves something to be desired.
- Ace Enders and a Million Different People - former frontman of the Early November, one of my favorite bands of all time, doing his own thing. You can download the whole thing for free at Fuse.tv.
- G4 TV's Fresh Ink - I was inspired to check out the back podcasts on iTunes after reading Blair Butler's interview in Comic Foundry. It's a good way to figure out what the rest of the world is getting clued into, but trust me when I say you're in much better hands with us at Acme.

He's done Wanted, the Ultimates, Ultimate FF (created the Marvel Zombies), Ultimate X-Men, Fantastic Four, 1985, Wolverine, and a little book called Civil War. And then Tony Harris is drawing it. Yes, Starman, Ex Machina Tony Harris. There are only 20 copies coming, 8 of which are spoken for. Millar has said that if he had stayed on Ultimates for a 3rd volume, this story would have been it. But, you know, no big deal.
