EARLY EDITION! Kicking back in the hotel room for the evening, catching up on the blog so I can hit the floor bright and early for HeroesCon 2010! not much to report yet from the scene except a great dinner with Chris G. and running into the Dales out in the street. All that and a whirlwind of live music and classy folks at the Epicenter.
Stephen's So-Called Emo Life!
- True Blood Season 2 - despite myself I really enjoyed the end of the first season, I think because it became far less about Bill and Sookie and much more of an ensemble. I completely get why everyone loves Eric in season 2. I think maybe they got the wrong guy for Thor.
- The Wire Season 5 - discussed the finale with someone the other night and decided to finish buying the series even though I was completely underwhelmed by it when it first aired (except for Omar). Battlestar season 4.5 will undoubtably reach my shelf soon after.
- Jim 'N' Nick's - about 14 miles outside downtown Charlotte, but still on Tryon St., which is just a block up from the convention center. Great barbecue and AMAZING cheddar biscuits. Well worth the drive.
- NEW Scott Pilgrim trailer - AHHHHSOME! I'll embed it when I get home.
- 27 Dresses - watching it for the second time while we're sitting here in the hotel and I already won the bet that it's not the worst movie ever and License to Wed still is.
