Before I went to bed last night I had pretty much resolved that whatever the weather was when I woke up, I wouldn't let it hamper my big plans for the weekend. The first step in that process: getting to work through the slush and making sure there are plenty of comics for you all to buy!

- Carolina Game Summit - Acme will be set up as a retailer for the event, Ian, Adam, and I will be teaming up with our pals Jay and Lex to perform as the bands No Physical Man and Tangible Chair in the Rock Band 2 competition, and Jermaine will be throwing down on Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter IV! As if that wasn't enough excitement, there's going to be a FREE classic arcade room and there are 2 very reputible BBQ joints in Goldsboro for us to choose from!
- X-Men Evolution - been re-watching it on Hulu again and enjoying it so much that I've asked March Madness guest Matt Kindt to do me a Evolution style Kitty Pryde commission!
- Black Dynamite - this week ONLY at the Carousel! Looks like it could be the funniest movie I've seen since the Hangover, though it's obviously a completely different style. LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME! Also coming up next week at the Carousel is the Princess Bride on Thursday at 7:30 and 10:00 PM! If last night's crowds for Amelie are any indication, you're gonna want to get your Princess Bride tickets well in advance and get there at least an hour early to ensure a good seat!
- Transformers 25th Anniversary Matrix of Leadership box set - as I said on Twitter, the 5 year old me now officially hates the 25 year old me.
- 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man - by Matt Kindt from Dark Horse. A really beautiful and well-arranged book. At times it's even more thrilling than Super Spy.
