After a day and a half off, we're back in business for 2010! While the calender might look a bit sparse right now, before the months out we should have plenty of big announcements and you'll be seeing us out in the media again.
My big push for the week is Siege: Embedded #1, mainly because it's drawn by our pal CHRIS SAMNEE! If you'll remember back to last May, Chris drew the Free Comic Book Day '09 print featuring Spider-woman and Batwoman and he was a huge hit with the crowds that day. I had a chance to hang out with him again at HeroesCon and San Diego Comic Con and I'm sure there's not a nicer or harder working guy in the business! He's one of the best, so don't miss out! Still not convinced? Shame on you! But maybe this preview will tip the scales!
Stephen's So-Called Emo Life!
- Ikea - I got 2 5' glass display cases for $19.99 each on Tuesday! It was a one day only sale, and we saw some Acme customers down in Concord taking advantage with us!
- Inglorious Basterds - finally got around to watching it on New Year's Eve. Not my favorite Tarantino movie, but Hans Landa is one of the best bad guys I've ever seen.
- OMG Pirates - made by the same people that did Zombieville. It's a lot more challenging, but not as monotonous and way more rewarding!
- Iron Man Video Game - Adam let me borrow it. I'm not usually a fan of standard gameplay that forces you to use the Wii controls (i.e. - shaking the Wiimote to attack in Ultimate Alliance), but I'm enjoying this one pretty good so far.
- Hulu Sports Documentaries - specifically Pond Hockey and Kokoyakyu -High School Baseball.
