Welcome back to I Hunger! I apologize I forgot to do a blog about last week's menu, it was just more breakfast stuff anyway, not much different from the first menu. This week, however, we're finally out of doing breakfast foods and we've moved on to bigger and better things! But, before I get into that, as you can see I have finally selected a name for this blog. It was a tough choice but the winner is LAWYERHULK! So the next time you are in the store, let me know who you are and I will grant you the previously stated discount. BUT THATS NOT ALL! Because i had such a hard time deciding what to use, I am also going to grant Mr. Sellars a discout of his own for the "eggcellent" use of the word Eggcelsior! So thanks everyone for the suggestions and thank you for the interest in the blog, I hope to keep it up for as long as im in school. Alright, onto the good stuff.
Hey guys! Welcome to me to my yet-to-be-named Food Blog. I could not find a catchy title so I figured i would leave it up to you guys to come up with a title for me. Contact me either through the message board, or reply to this thread with your suggestions for a title, and if I choose your suggestion I will give you 27% off any TPB or Hardcover in the store!! That's right, so get your thinking caps on, be creative, be silly, have fun! Also, I really appreciate any feedback you can offer. Anything food related you would be interested in seeing, just let me know.
Hey guys, Ian here. Since I am "the new guy", I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and properly introduce myself and let you know about some things I have planned for the future. I am fairly new to comics, I believe I started shopping at Acme back in 2005. I got back into comics with Sandman surprisingly. My girlfriend at the time had the Preludes and Nocturnes trade and she made me read it and I instantly fell in love with it. Soon after that I began going to Acme to pick up trades to read at work. I picked up Avengers Disassembled and fell in love with the Marvel Universe so I began picking up House of M and then I was hooked. There are still a lot of things that I haven't read that I know are good and that I know I should read but for one reason or anotherjust haven't read yet. So with that said, one thing I plan on starting is a blog reviewing older books from a newer perspective. Books like Powers, Ex Machina, and Planetary which i am currently reading, and books like Y: The Last Man, Preacher, JLA/Avengers, Avengers Forever, and Morrison's New X-Men that are on the list of things to read. My New Year's Resolution is to catch up with all this reading that i have no excuse not to have read.
